Come and Try Day

Sunday 5th September, 2021    10 -12 noon   

Come on down and we will show you around the Club, explain the membership process, and put you in a boat for a try if you wish*

If you cannot make it on the day, please contact us to make alternative arrangements with our membership officer.

RSVP

We have two-time sessions – Register for 10.00 am or Register for 10:45 am. To register choose the event, put your details into Paddle Australia and when asked to join a club ‘buy’ the Essendon Canoe Club Come and Try day membership ($0 if you do it this way). This will cover you with insurance. For more information:

*Please bring a change of clothes and old sneakers or beachcombers if paddling – you may end up wet and cold and we have great change rooms and hot showers if you need! Wear synthetic or woolen clothing. No cotton – if wet it stays cold.

Essendon Canoe Club is now open for all activities, subject to State Government Covid restrictions.

Essendon Canoe Club Inc (ECC) is a friendly and well-equipped club catering to the needs of individual and family paddlers. Located in Woods St Ascot Vale, on the Maribyrnong River, the Essendon Canoe Club was established in 1925. Members enjoy all aspects of canoeing (and kayaking) including Touring, Polo, Marathon, Flatwater racing, and of course social!
